Originally built in the late 1700's, this historic country inn is located in the charming lakeside village of Wolfeboro, a picture perfect New England town. Just one mile from the eastern side of Lake Winnipesaukee, you can enjoy plenty of water activities in the summer, including, windsurfing, water skiing and fishing. Challenge your golf game on the 18-hole course, which borders the resort, or take a mountain bike excursion along miles of trails, which wind through back country roads. Play a tennis at the resort, swim laps in the indoor pool or simply unwind in the saunas. During winter months, downhill or cross-country ski in the nearby White Mountains, which are within 18 miles. For a change of pace, numerous antiques shops, restaurants and tourist attractions are within the vicinity, as well.
